Her Court

The adidas Home of Classics campaign is all about celebrating adidas’ most iconic silhouettes. Born in the court, these styles have transcended sport, finding their place in the fashion world and with consumers of all types. For this project we captured photo and interview content from 3 artists — Liz Cambage (WNBA), Ari Lennox (R&B artist), and Chinae Alexander (adidas influencer), using colorful courts as the backdrop for adidas’ timeless white sneakers. These campaigns were aimed at young, female consumers, through channels like Foot Locker and Champs Sports. Each drop had it’s own online and in-store activations and events. 

I led this project as art director and lead designer from start to finish, pitching creative and campaign rollout ideas to client, art directing alongside photographers on set, designing the printed zines and digital takedowns of each, and even snapped a few film photos to add to the mix. The creative direction was intentionlly over-the-top, leaning normcore and slightly “extra”, with embellished styling and bold, monochromatic color stories.
